On February 21, LG officially unveiled the G5, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. At the same time, the manufacturer also unveiled plenty of accessories, called “LG Friends,” but didn’t go into much detail about a release date. Immediately following the announcement of the phone and its accessories, including the Camera Grip, there was a confirmation report that many of the wireless carriers in the United States would carry the device and accessories at some point in the spring, but none of them nailed down even the month they would be unleashed. Now, the Life’s Good crew has officially confirmed that the G5 and the LG Friends accessories will launch for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular in early April. On top of that, customers will be able to buy the phone from Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, and B&H. LG has also confirmed a special, limited-time offer that will see anyone buying the G5 also get a battery charging cradle, and a second battery, for free. Are you planning on buying the LG G5?
