While nothing is set in stone, one Motorola executive says the Moto X lineup of devices isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Earlier this week, the Lenovo-owned Motorola officially announced a brand new pair of flagship phones with the Moto Z and Moto Z Force. With the Moto Z now official, the question lingered: What was happening with the Moto X flagships-not-flagships? After all, Motorola did recently launch the Moto X Force in some international markets. Well, according to a statement from Motorola, the Moto X brand is “alive and well”: So the Moto Z and Moto Z Force are Motorola’s new flagships, but that doesn’t mean the Moto X is going anywhere. That means there’s the Moto E, a few new versions of the Moto G, versions of the Moto X, and at least two new Moto Z variants.
