With internet rates getting cheaper and laptops becoming more affordable in India, both mobile and computer gaming have been on the rise in the country. If you too enjoy playing games and are planning to get yourself a new laptop that can run most games without lags, here is a piece of good news. You don’t really have to spend lakhs of rupees on specialized “gaming laptops”. Here are five laptops for gaming that you can buy for under Rs. 50,000.

Best Gaming Laptops Under Rs 50,000 in India

Asus F570ZD-DM226T Gaming laptop (Rs. 49,990)

This laptop from Asus is the most powerful one that you can get under the price of Rs. 50,000. There’s an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU with 4 cores and a clock speed of 2GHz along with 4GB of Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics. That should make gaming on this laptop a smooth experience. RAM is 8GB along with 1TB HDD which can be swapped out for SSD storage. On the front is a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display to enjoy content on. All the general ports are present, Windows 10 is pre-installed, and the keyboard is backlit too. For a price of Rs. 49,990 this laptop from Asus offers good value and should be your primary choice for gaming.

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42-R6GV Gaming Laptop (Rs. 49,990)

The Acer Nitro 5 also has a Ryzen 5 quad-core CPU clocked at 2GHz. However, unlike the previously mentioned Asus model, this one has a Radeon RX 560X GPU with 4GB vRAM as compared to the GTX 1050 on the Asus. The RAM is 8GB and the hard disk is 1TB, again, with the option of swapping it out for an SSD. The display is a 15.6-inch Full HD panel but is IPS on this model unlike the Asus one. Again, Windows 10 is pre-installed, all necessary ports are present, and the keyboard is backlit in red LED giving it the typical “gaming” look. If you’re looking for a great display and gaming-centric accents and design, the Acer Nitro 5 is a good choice for Rs. 49,990.

Lenovo Ideapad 330 (Rs. 41,990)

If you do not want a processor from AMD and prefer Intel instead, the Ideapad 330 is the perfect option for you. It’s not your typical ‘gaming laptop’, but perfectly suited for gaming. The 8th gen Intel Core i5 8250U chipset clocked at 1.6GHz handles performance with a 2GB Nvidia MX150 for graphics. The RAM is 8GB and storage is 1TB HDD. The resolution of the 15.6-inch display, however, is only HD and not 1080p and the keyboard is not backlit. The variant we mentioned comes with DOS but there is also a model with Windows 10 pre-installed that costs Rs. 46,990. If you’re specifically looking for an Intel chipset but don’t mind the slight compromise in display quality, the Ideapad 330 is for you.

Lenovo Ideapad 330e (Rs. 45,990)

The Ideapad 330e has the exact same specifications as the Ideapad 330 mentioned above, except for one change which is in the GPU. The 330e has an AMD Radeon 530 GPU with 4GB vRAM instead of the 2GB MX 150 on the 330. However, Nvidia GPUs generally tend to perform better while gaming, so unless you really want the additional 2GB of graphics, we would recommend the Ideapad 330 instead of the 330e. Comes with DOS out of the box.

Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-5673 (Rs. 40,990)

This is the most affordable laptop in the list which can still manage to provide decent performance for gaming. There’s a 7th generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor along with Nvidia MX130 graphics. There’s 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD and a 15.6-inch HD display. The usual array of ports is present, but there’s no backlight for the keyboard. Windows 10 Home is preinstalled. Quite a good deal for around 40k but watch out for sales where the price usually hovers around 37-38k.
