With the AR Measure app, you can do both. This tape measure app makes it so that you always have this handy tool at your disposal. The “AR” in the name stands for augmented reality. It uses this technology to create a virtual ruler that can measure real objects. Based on the demo, it seems to use your phone’s camera to measure the distance between two points in space. AR Measure isn’t available just yet. It’s going to be released with the iOS 11 update. If it’s in high enough demand from the App Store then maybe we can expect the developer to make an Android version too. You can click here to get iOS 11 before everyone else.
