TENAA and FCC certifications have been a boon, in the sense they have always given us a sneak peek on the devices yet to come. Second generation Samsung A5 has been recently spotted on the TENAA, thus revealing the specs. If you remember the second generation Galaxy A7 has already made it to TENAA, whereas the Gen 2 Galaxy A3 was spotted on the FCC website. Now it is but fair for us to take a look at the leaked specifications of all these three devices. The Samsung Galaxy A3 is expected to come equipped with a 4.7-inch 720p display, whereas the Galaxy A5 will sport a slightly larger (and better) 5.2-inch FHD display. The Galaxy A7 will sport the largest display among the trio in the form of a 5.5-inch FHD unit. The Galaxy A3 will draw its power from the quad core Exynos 7580 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 1.5GB of RAM, while the A5 and the A7 are expected to be powered by the octa core Exynos processor clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. As for the internal memory, all the three phones might offer 16GB of storage along with a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 128GB. All the three devices will be fitted with a 13-Megapixel primary sensor and a 5-Megapixel secondary sensor, however the flash and the focussing unit might differ from one another. Samsung’s new A Series line-up is expected to be launched officially in the first quarter 2016 (probably at CES 2016). Going by the specifications, the second gen Galaxy A series phones seem to pack in quiet a punch and now it will be the pricing that will decide if the devices will be able to take on much capable contenders in its segment.
