Sony is going to announce a mega-flagship phone on September 4th that’s rumors say will be called the Xperia i1 (above, middle). The internet has been calling said phone “Honami” for as long as I can remember. This device will run a new version of Sony’s Android skin, which may or may not be called TimeScape, I’m dreadfully unfamiliar with the company’s marketing material.
Anyway, here’s where it gets interesting: Some has gotten a hold of the software that will be on Honami and has modified it so it can run on pretty much anything running Android 4.1 and above. You know where this is going, right? Someone with a Galaxy S4 has made a two minute demo of what Honami’s launcher will look like.
