Let’s start with the obvious. Vivo has been a pioneer when it comes to under-the-display fingerprint scanners and has improved the technology over time. The V11 Pro will carry the 4th generation In-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology enabling a seamless FullView display from top to bottom. More on the display later in the article.
2. InfraRed-based Face Unlock
While In-display fingerprint scanners are jazzy and useful, face unlock can be really convenient for a lot of people. Though companies have been providing this feature even on budget phones, they are not really secure or accurate, especially in low light conditions. Vivo V11 Pro will be coming with an IR scanner specifically for Face Unlock. Vivo is calling the feature, Face Access which works even in the dark. Together with In-display FPS, Vivo V11 Pro will have top-of-the-line security features.
3. Futuristic Design
We have seen Vivo innovate with FullView displays in the past and now, they are experimenting with the notch. Instead of the massive iPhone-X like notch we have seen in the past, the Vivo V11 Pro is expected to come with waterdrop-design simply housing the front camera while rest of the components like the earpiece and sensors are neatly hidden. The V11 Pro will carry a massive 6.41-inch vivid and vibrant Super AMOLED display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. And guess what? The screen-to-body ratio is expected to be 91.27% which will surely provide an immersive multimedia experience.
4. Quite a powerhouse
While the design looks great and security features are aplenty, what about the actual performance? The Vivo V11 Pro will not be a slouch and comes with the amazing Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE processor. In addition to this, there will be 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage providing optimum performance, be it for gaming or general multi-tasking.
5. Massive Battery with Fast charging
The Vivo V11 Pro is expected to come with a neat 3400mAh battery to keep it running through the day. While it’s not the biggest battery we have seen in this segment, it does come with Vivo Dual-Engine Fast Charging which can refuel the battery in no time.
6. Cameras
We always associate Vivo with great selfie cameras. True to its reputation, Vivo has packed in a 25-megapixel AI selfie camera with an all-new AI Face Shaping technology for beautiful selfies. Vivo has incorporated features like AI Backlight HDR which should help when you shoot under strong backlight. The dual rear camera is a 12MP + 5MP affair with the main lens having a big f/1.8 aperture and 1.28μm pixel size. In addition, there is an AI Low Light Mode where multiple images are taken at different exposures and then combined to create perfectly exposed photos.
