Call recording is one of those little yet important features on Android. While Google has killed this feature by limiting the API starting with Android Pie, many OEM still offers this feature by customizing their skin. Vivo V15 Pro comes with FunTouch, and luckily it offers call recording out of the box.  I am sure a consumer spending so much money on V15 Pro would be happy to know that call recording is available on the device. Interested in knowing how to record calls on the Vivo V15 Pro? Follow the steps below. They are also applicable for the Vivo V15.

Record Calls in Vivo V15 Pro

You can record calls in three ways. Automatic, Manually, and the last one is Custom. While automatic call recording does what it says, the default mode is manual. First, I will show you the steps on how to record a call manually on your Vivo V15 Pro Step 1: Make or receive a call on the Vivo V15 Pro. Step 2: As soon as you hit the dial button, a prominent Record button will show up. Tap on it. The color will change from white to blue.

Step 3: As soon as the call connects, a time counter will start. It shows the total active time of recording. Step 4: You can choose to stop recording manually by pressing the record button again. Else, the recording stops automatically when the call ends. Next, I will show you the steps on how to record a call automatically on your Vivo V15 Pro Step 1: Go to Settings and search Recording. It will reveal a setting which will show all the options. (Settings > System Apps > Phone > Recording)

Step 2: Here you can choose to record all calls automatically. Next time you make a call, it will automatically record the ongoing and incoming calls. Lastly, I will show you the steps on how to record selected calls on your Vivo V15 Pro Step 1: In the same settings, tap on record custom calls automatically. It will enable the Custom option. Tap on it and then select the contacts. Tap on Done to go back. Step 2: Post this when you receive or make calls to these numbers, the call will be automatically recorded.

Vivo V15 Pro: How to Listen or Access Call Records

There is two way of doing this. First is useful when you want to listen to all recordings in one place. The second is when you need access to the physical file. Listen to all recordings in one place Step 1: Open dial pad, and go to recent calls. Step 2: Locate the number, and tap on the blue arrow icon on the extreme right. Step 3: Under call logs for that call, you can find the recordings. Tap on it to listen.

Access Recording Files Step 1: Search for File Manager app. Tap to open when it shows up. Step 2:  In the next screen, tap on “All Files” and navigate to Record > Call. Step 3: All the files are stored with the number-date-time format. Do note that call recording is yet not illegal in India. In case a new law passes, OEM can remove this feature via a software update.
