Just like all major offerings from Vivo, selfie and music are the main forefronts for the Y69. The main highlight of the mid-ranger is its 16MP f/2.0 moonlight selfie camera. Furthermore, the camera app on the Vivo Y69 comes with a ton of features which includes Bokeh, Group Selfie, and Live Photo. With that said, the Vivo Y69 can’t be called a whole new phone. It would wise to call it tune up version of its predecessor. Apparently, not much has changed apart from the emergence of a front mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo Y69 features a metal unibody design with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display on top. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek 6570 octa-core processor. This is clubbed with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via a MicroSD card. Apart from that, the Vivo Y69 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery. There’s also a 13 MP rear camera which is partially overshadowed by the highly specced front snapper. The rear camera is equipped with a Live Photo mode. The implementation is expected to similar to the one seen on the iPhone. The Vivo Y69 is a dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. It runs on Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 3.2 interface which is primarily a skin on top of Android Nougat 7.1. The smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold and Matte Black colors.
