The 88th Academy Awards is all set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday, February 28, 2016, and ABC will be telecasting it live from 4 PM PT/7 PM ET/ 12 AM GMT. Actor Chris Rock will host the show for the second time, having previously hosted the 2005 Oscar Awards. He takes over from Neil Patrick Harris who hosted the Oscars last year. J. J. Abrams, Sacha Baron Cohen, Priyanka Chopra, Charlize Theron among others have been confirmed as the presenters of the show. Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Dave Grohl, Harold Wheeler, Sam Smith and others are amongst the performers at Oscars 2016.

If you are in United Kingdom, the Oscars 2016 live stream will start late in the night at 12am (for the red carpet) followed by the awards ceremony at 1.30am on Monday morning. Sky will once again broadcast the awards in the UK on their channel Sky Movies Oscar. The channel has been created to cover the ceremony and also show classic Oscar films including Forrest Gump, The Godfather and The Silence of the Lambs.
